Terms & Conditions

1. Our Agreement

By using the Laser Engraving Australia website (the “Site”) and placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site or place an order.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By placing an order, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you’re legally able to enter into this agreement.

3. Products

We do our best to show our products accurately, including colours, materials, and sizes. Because each item is personalised and laser engraved individually, small variations between pieces are normal and are not a fault.

4. Pricing & Availability

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD)[, GST inclusive]. Prices may change without notice. We can correct pricing errors and may refuse or cancel an order placed at an incorrect price, even after it’s been confirmed.

5. Orders & Acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy from us. We can accept, refuse, or cancel any order at our discretion — including orders that appear fraudulent, contain pricing errors, or break these Terms.

6. Custom Orders & Customer-Supplied Artwork

When you upload artwork, a logo, a design, or text for a custom order, you confirm that you own the rights to it, or have permission from the rights holder to use it commercially. You agree that Laser Engraving Australia isn’t responsible for any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property claims arising from content you upload, and you agree to cover any costs or claims that result from it. We can refuse a custom order at our discretion — including artwork that’s offensive, breaches someone else’s rights, or that we’re not able to produce to our quality standards.

7. Payment

Payment is required when you place your order. We accept the payment methods listed on our Payment Methods page. By placing an order, you authorise us — and our payment processors, Stripe and PayPal — to charge your selected payment method for the full order amount.

8. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping costs and timeframes are listed on our FAQ page. Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Laser Engraving Australia isn’t responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or other events outside our control.

9. Returns & Refunds

All returns and refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, which also explains your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including the Laser Engraving Australia name, logo, product designs, photos, text, and code — belongs to Laser Engraving Australia and is protected by Australian and international copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or reuse this content without our written permission.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Site
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
  • Upload or transmit harmful code or content

12. User Accounts

If you create an account, you’re responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

13. Consumer Guarantees & Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t lawfully be excluded. Where the law allows us to limit our liability, our liability is limited, at our choice, to repairing or replacing the goods, or refunding the price paid.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Laser Engraving Australia isn’t liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or our products. This doesn’t affect any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that can’t be excluded.

15. Indemnification

You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs that arise from your use of the Site, artwork you upload, or your breach of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Victoria, Australia.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force.
